Let us tell you a little about the people who head this firm:
Bill Jeatran, CICChief Executive Officer
Bill launched RJF in 1986 with the goal of creating an agency with strong values based on integrity and respect. He wanted to create a firm that would leave a positive impact on both its customers and employees.
Breaking the “insurance broker” mold, Bill positioned the firm as a true business consultancy with expertise in organizational risk management. This allows our people to focus on analyzing clients underlying causes of increased claims and create custom solutions that reduce costs and build both company and employee value. Bill devotes a lot of his time to coaching the RJF leadership to help them build personal and professional success within the company. He also works to spread the RJF values throughout the company.
Tim Fleming, CPCU, CICPresident
In 1988, Tim joined his former college roommate, Bill Jeatran, at RJF Agencies. His vision aligned with Bill’s idea of creating a company based on quality and integrity. During his tenure at RJF, Tim has served its clients through a number of positions within the company. He is active in carrier relations and follows his passion for customer service as a leader in RJF's client retention committee, where Tim and others search for new ways to continually improve the service RJF provides.
While his previous role at RJF was president of business development, in his current position as president, Tim is actively working on recruiting and developing leaders within the company.
Jill Lowder, CIC, CRMChief Operating Officer
Jill is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. After establishing her career at CFG Insurance Services, she moved to RJF Agencies in 1994 looking for new leadership opportunities. She has been instrumental in creating management systems for the firm.
Since joining RJF, Jill has grown with the company by providing leadership in a variety of roles. Now, as chief operating officer, she supervises eight departments and more than 100 employees.
Jill has been instrumental in creating a company that focuses on partnering with clients to manage organizational risk. She has coordinated the integration of the RJF approach with the company’s service strategy and platform.
Jim JohnsonVice President, Sales and Marketing
Jim has been a member of the insurance industry in various capacities for over 27 years. His career started as an underwriter and underwriting manager of a large national carrier and has since led to positions in brokerages or agencies utilizing his knowledge of and connections with insurance carriers.
In 1988, Jim joined Marquette Insurance Group as a marketing specialist. Through several mergers and acquisitions, the firm eventually became Wells Fargo Insurance. Jim held a variety of positions, including marketing manager, agency manager of its largest agency and national marketing director.
Later, Jim headed up the domestic marketing group of Wells/Acordia and was a member of the merger transition team. Jim also held a variety of positions on regional and national insurance company advisory boards and has built a number of programs since joining RJF in 2002.
