Minneapolis, October 31, 2006 - RJF Agencies' Jeatran chosen as chair-elect of Assurex Global
Assurex Global announced that Bill Jeatran, chief executive officer of Minneapolis-based RJF Agencies, was elected chair-elect at its annual meeting in Toronto. Assurex Global is the world's largest privately held risk management, commercial insurance and employee benefits brokerage group, comprised of 117 independent insurance agencies in more than 70 countries on six continents managing premiums of more than $23 billion.
Jeatran began his term as chair-elect immediately following last week's meeting. He assumes the chairman role upon the completed term of current chairman Paul Hering of Barney & Barney, LLC, in San Diego. Jeatran has served as a Director of Assurex Global since 2004.
