Eau Claire, Wis., January 27, 2006 - Epilepsy Foundation names RJF Agencies Corporate Sponsor of the Year
The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin (EFWW) recently announced that RJF Agencies will be the recipient of its Corporate Sponsor of the Year award. The Eau Claire-based nonprofit agency will present RJF Agencies with the award at a ceremony in February.
RJF Agencies raised more than $13,000 for EFWW at its annual golf tournament last August held at the Eau Claire Golf & Country Club. Donations were collected from RJF's insurance company partners and presented to the EFWW at the conclusion of the tournament.
"We're very honored and humbled by this recognition," Tournament Director and RJF Executive Vice President Tom Ziemann said. "I personally consider myself very fortunate to work with a company like RJF that understands the inherent value of giving back to our communities. I also am very grateful to work with such a giving group of insurance company representatives who share RJF's values of integrity and doing the right thing. Their generosity continues to amaze me each and every year at this tournament."
Kristin Berg, executive director of the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin, said she was overcome by the sizable donation. The money helped EFWW hire additional staff members and grow the foundation's reach into the communities it serves.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin (EFWW) was founded in 1972 by a group of people in Western Wisconsin who realized the need for connecting with other people and with resources in order to cope with the challenges of epilepsy.
