I wanted to thank you again for the valued partnership that RJF Agencies has provided Coborn’s Inc. over the past 3 years. As you know, we left a long-standing brokerage relationship when we started working with your firm. Our decision to change is now clearly validated in the results and impact your firm has helped us achieve. Over the past 3 years, you have helped us realize that insurance is only a small part of our overall cost of risk and that we must focus on all aspects of risk management to effectively reduce our costs.
When we decided to evaluate a brokerage change, we were looking for a firm that could assist us with more than just our insurance program. We were seeking a company that could evaluate our overall risk factors and loss trends, and provide effective resources and solutions towards implementing effective risk management and safety programs. We were also looking for a firm that not only took a proactive approach to loss prevention and risk management, but also had the internal resources to monitor and advocate our claims management process. The loss control and claims teams within RJF have spent hundreds of hours working with our management team and various store locations to implement effective programs. Your claims team effectively monitors and communicates our claim results, and acts as our ongoing claims advocate.
I have also been extremely impressed with your account management, marketing and service teams. They effectively and proactively address our ongoing needs and consistently communicate market conditions, while finding competitive insurance solutions within the marketplace.
More recently, I have appreciated your assistance and guidance towards assisting us with our long-term internal risk management strategy. Having the ability to work with people who have been corporate risk managers in the past is unique and we appreciate the opportunity to utilize those services as we build our own internal resources. We also appreciate your alternative risk team and welcome the opportunity to further learn about alternative risk strategies.
