NLRB POSTPONES EFFECTIVE DATE OF RIGHTS POSTER

On December 27, 2011, the National Labor Relations Board announced that it was delaying the implementation of its rule requiring covered employers to post notice of employee rights under the National Labor Relations Act. The new date for posting requirements will be April 30, 2012.
According to a press release from the NLRB, it has agreed to postpone the effective date of its employee rights notice posting rule at the request of the federal court in Washington, DC pending a legal challenge which would change the rule.
